Hi Paul,

I'm not 100% sure but as much as I know, this is not possible to do, because of 
the asynchronism between the server and client. 

However to address this problem you normally would do something like that:

Precondition:
1. create an action listener on the server side.

Procedure:
1. server calls method on client side
2. client side method creates an image and sends it back to the server. This 
happens through the trigger of the server side action of the previous created 
action listener.
3. the action listener on server side gets notified and receives the image. Now 
you can do whatever you want to..
