The Issue has reduced its impact for us as we can use a PKI Zertificate
through the SLL Manager now.

Still:

1. As servers often have underlying HTTP Authentication that issue
should in theory be possible to handle with ULC Load.

2. Handling multiple client Zertificates as identification for diffrent
users stays an issue. It might be solvable if better documentation for
the Connector Provider Architecture was available.

P.S.: This is a repost as a first try to mail it did not seem to work. I
apologize if this post should show up twice due to the fact that it
against my perception did work the first time but was just delayed.

Subject: [ULC-developer] ULC Load Http Authentication

I have the task of Performance testing an ULC-Applet.
I am currently trying todo this evaluating ULC Load (3.0.2).

I have a rather technical simple Problem. The Applet is served by a
Weblogic Server.
Prior to giving Access it Requests HTTP Authentication.
In ULC Load the Authentication Requester Pops Up for every single start
of an Instance of the Test.
As the Authentication is not part of the Applet it is not controllable
through ULC (Applet) Means.

JMeter as Base of ULC Load could do the Login automaticly, but it seems
as if the
HTTP Authentication Manager is Missing.
The other way to supply a list of Users through an XML does not work
either, at least I can not find a way to supply the File in a way that
the Framwork will pick it up..

The Login Config Element (Which I did not know before today) seems to be
either for a diffrent purpose or not working.

A colleague from Canoo, who had currently not enough time to investigate
things for himself, told me to to conntact the mailinglist if in doubt.
He also set me on the path to provide a connector that would do the
authentication by providing my own version of

com.ulcload.base.connector.ULCLoadDefaultConnectorProvider .
(Interface com.ulcload.base.connector.IConnectorProvider)

With the given Documentation and after looking into the classes this
seems to be a thorny way of unnecessary reverse engeneering at best.

Therfore:
Is there a code example for a Connector, maybe even one doing HTTP
Authentication ?
Or is there a way to make the JMeter Base of ULC Load do the automatic
handling of the Authentication again?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
