Tonight's ACM event (formerly known as Bash the Profs) will be POSTPONED
in light of tonight's game and associated traffic. The AWC 400LLS is
still on.

Next week:

Wed. the 26th at 6:30PM - Bethesda Softworks will give a talk. Location
and details TBA

Thurs, the 27th at 5:30 PM in CSIC 1121 - ACM Professor Powwow
Come to our closed doors session for the real low down on CS professors
and classes from students who have taken their courses.

We encourage students who have had a particularly good or bad experience
with a class to come share this with the rest of us. Find out whether your
peers think your potential profs are dynamic speakers, generous with
partial credit, give interesting projects, and for which classes you may
need extra caffeine.

We will discuss professors at all levels, not just the 400's. Speak freely
- what's said in the powwow stays in the powwow. If you'd like to make
your voice heard to the administration, we can pass on comments
anonymously. Neither this session nor the 400LLS can replace meeting with
an advisor, but can help you make more informed decisions.

Thurs. the 27th at 7:00 in CSIC 1121 - UMLUG: Rob Sherwood on Security

There will be food at all events.
