Seeking Help with Development of Experimental Apparatus and Analysis Systems

The hearing group in the Biology and Psychology departments at UMD is
looking for a person with academic training and hands-on experience in
each of the following areas.

Small circuit development: filters, amplifiers, delay lines design,
analysis, fabrication, test, and repair. PC interfaces, filters, digital
& analog ICs, power supplies, etc. Use your electronics knowledge,
vendor-specific circuit design software, PCB layout software.

Digital signal processing: detection, segmentation, analysis. Use
knowledge of signal processing to implement algorithms in Matlab,
Signal, and TDT real-time DSP turnkey systems.

Light mechanical work  layout and fabrication of control panels with
microswitches, LEDs, batteries, lights, pumps, animal feeders, etc.  Use
Dremel tool, drill press, file, saw, tin snips, epoxy glue, etc.
