Very strange - after months of working fine, my laptop will suddenly no
longer see a memory stick. Tried one each Lexar and Cruzer. I get messages
like "device not accepting address 2, error -110". From what I can
tell, this is a common message. dmesg says:
usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
uhci_hcd 0000:00:1d.0: Unlink after no-IRQ? Different ACPI or APIC
settings may help.
I do have acpi but I'm not sure what settings to try or how to do this
... any ideas? This is Slack 10.1 running 2.6.10.
BTW I also tried pci=routeirq with no success.
