[UM-LINUX] Elections

It's April, meaning that it's time to do UMLUG elections.

This email is the call for nominations.  The positions to be elected are as follows: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.  If you are interested in running for any of these positions, let me know.  Nominations will be open for one week (until next Friday night, April the 14th.)  Only undergraduates who have held active membership for at least one semester are eligible, and we must fill the positions of President and Treasurer.

Once nominations have been closed, voting will be the following week and will continue for one week.  The constitution stipulates that the faculty advisor (Peter Teuben) will collecte and tabulate closed ballot votes.  I'll send him the PHP script used last year and allow him to administrate the script and process.

I am hereby nominating myself for the position of President.
