In response to continued workplace productivity, my employer turned off
their imap server and will only feed us email via their Outlook server,
which I can't even get to from my Linux box. Seems I can use a web
interface with a Citrix client; however I also need to install a smart
card reader to get a cert from my ID badge.
They provide card reading software for Linux, however on my machine the
install program (a binary, not a shell script) dies with an error code,
probably while looking for some library or another. Called the help desk,
and they say sorry, they only support Red Hat (I run Slack)
<rant>This is evil, there's no reason they can't write a normal shell
script like anyone else that will tell you what library's missing so you
can install it ... we only support Red Hat ... pah! </rant>
Anyhow, I've been reading about MUSCLE
(http://www.linuxnet.com/index.html) which seems to provide a basis for
open-source Smartcard support. Anybody used this?
(am resisting the change to Red Hat, not because I hate Red Hat, I just
don't want the pointless disruption)

(PS: checked the logs, tried strace, ... seems to be during java setup)
