Sorry for this OT email, but we are sort of stuck here at the Fire and
Rescue Institute, and I thought you guys might like a free lunch,
*TOMORROW*, Wednesday May 10.
The Fire and Rescue Institute is running a class dealing with the emergency
response to mass casualty incidents, such as natural disasters. Tomorrow,
Wednesday, we have the practical exercise that is intended to give the
students a chance to practice some of their skills. The class is being
held at the College Park facility which is in walking distance from campus.
I know this is at the last minute, we had 20 students that had been
promised by UMBC but that list is apparently now down to 4. So we are
really short of victims for our mass casualty drill tomorrow.
We still need 20 people to be victims from roughly 7:30 to 4:30. We
probably don't need the same people for the whole day, I expect we can
organize it so that you could come for only part of the day.
Lunch will be provided.
Please let me know if you can help out. Even if you can only come for half
the day.
Send me an email off the list if you would like more information.
Thanks!
Tom
PS: Did I mention that lunch will be provided?
