Does anyone have a Sony VAIO Laptop battery? My girlfriend just gave me her old laptop, so I promptly installed Kubuntu (great distro by the way). Unfortunately the battery only holds a charge for like 7 minutes before it dies.
Its a Sony VAIO PCG-FXA53 and uses the battery number PCGA-BP71A. I think it can also take a BP71 or BP71A as well. (or any generic 14.8V battery that fits.... BP71A is 3000mAh) If anyone has a spare or an old one they don't use and want to sell, I'd be willing to negotiate a price. Thanks, Erik.
