I originally used Gentoo until I broke it.... ;_; I had Ubuntu installed and now I just updated to the latest build of Kubuntu. I wouldn't use it as my mainstream desktop (would use either Xebuntu or probably Gentoo again), but it does a nice job as a secondary desktop.
Also on a side not, Gentoo really doesn't take THAT long to install if you work with hardware from the last 10 years and you are quick at setting it up. :P -Russ
