-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Two things you'll need to do:
1) Configure the wireless router to pass incoming port 22 traffic on o the box you want to SSH to (known as port forwarding). You may want to configure it to use a different port (you could do this on just the router) to save yourself the pain of the many brute-force attacks on the net. Configure the router to pass incoming port 3 (pick one) to port 22 on the internal machine. Make sure you have permanent DHCP leases so you don't break your forward. You could forward different ports to different machines if you need that functionality. Then simply SSH to your IP at the appropriate port. 2) Oh, you can't remember your IP? Damn DHCP. Get a dynamic dns entry through a free provider (I like dyndns.org, there are many others). You can set up a fully qualified domain name for your machine so you can find it more easily. With the use of a tidy script available through the provider, your machine will check in periodically and update the IP info with the provider, freeing you from the tyranny of your ISP's short DHCP lease time. Now you just have to remember myhomemachine(or whatever).dyndns.org. Making this actually work is left as an exercise for the reader. J.
