You can NOT have a CNAME and an MX for the same record.  CNAME means that
there can be no other records for the entry - otherwise there could be a
contradiction.

If you want an MX for apl.bluenodes.com, you'll need to change it from a
CNAME to an A.

It is possible that UMD is rewriting based upon the fact that
apl.bluenode.com is supposedly the same thing as bluenode.com, so you're
probably better off using an A even if you don't want the MX.
