Tux.Org, Inc. formally announces the beginning of its annual election
cycle for the Board of Directors. We have two openings and we welcome
candidates to participate.

To be considered, please review the Tux.Org elections pages at
http://www.tux.org/~megan, and then submit the following to me:
1. a bio summarizing your history with Linux and/or open source
software (job/hobby, development, advocacy, sales, engineering,
administration, LUG membership, installfests... whatever you think is
relevant)
2. a short description of how you wish to contribute: what do you
see Tux.Org doing more of / less of? Directions we should take,
activities we should(n't) be doing, skills you bring to the table
(operations, fundraising, networking activities, events, equipment
'procurement,' project management, mentoring, legal, etc.)

Submissions are due no later than 14 January 2007.

Voting will be conducted at the area LUG meetings in February, and the
results will be announced in March.

Please ping Megan Larko <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Pete Nuwayser
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or myself with any questions.
