wpa_supplicant is what you need. The website for it is here:

As far as I know there is only one other supplicant for Linux. It's called 
xsupplicant:

http://open1x.sourceforge.net/

Most distros should have packages for these two apps since they are the only 
way you can connect to a wpa secured network with Linux.

On Gentoo wpa_supplicant is the only wireless package you need. I have 
wireless-tools installed as well but it's not needed. On other distros I'm not 
sure what else would be needed.
