By the way ... I can't really take credit, as the whole UMLUG thing just
sort of crystallized on its own and I happened to be there. Peter was
equally instrumental. The list actually started with a group order for
some Slackware 2.3 installation CDROM's (back before we had our own
writers).  We had 11 names on that list.

The first message to the majordomo mailing list was 27 Nov 1995. Back
then I wrote:
