Hi all, I have two old laptops that I want to give away: * HP Pavilion ze1230. Athlon XP 1.2 GHz processor, K3 Savage graphics, 256 MB RAM, CD-R/W/DVD, 15.4" LCD, onboard ethernet, PCMCIA 802.11b wireless. PROBLEMS: one row of dead pixels near the bottom, screen hinges are weak, battery doesn't last very long.
* another HP Pavilion. 1 GHz Celeron. 128 MB RAM. CD/DVD, 14" LCD, onboard ethernet, PCMCIA 802.11b wireless. PROBLEMS: one loose keycap. Both can run Linux fine. Neither has a hard drive at the moment, but any 2.5" IDE drive will do. I've used the ze1230 for electronics work since it has a parallel port which is convenient for supplying 5V TTL signals! I also have one AC adapter that will work with either of them. Let me know! Thanks, Dan
