Yeah, I was in totally the wrong place. I was in building 224 (http://www.parking.umd.edu/themap/map.asp?location=H5&zoom=3 ) then walked over to STAMP. Either way it was good to see some of my highschool friends at STAMP, even if they thought I was a total dork for looking for the LUG ;)

Anyway, I was talking with Paul Frields earlier today at lunch and I told him about the UMD LUG. Paul is the Fedora Project leader and chairman of the Fedora board -- would you guys be interested in meeting him, hearing about Fedora, etc? He moved to MA in March, so it would have to be in the next month-ish. You can check him out @ http://www.redhatmagazine.com/2008/01/24/fudcon-video-new-face-of-fedora/

No, he was at the old Computer Science Center building, up with Space Sciences near the stadium. That's where the CS Dept used to be before AVW was built.

If what you're saying is that you couldn't find the building, it's the Computer Science Instructional Center, building #406. Maybe you were at the AV Williams building next door?

Well, I walked around trying to get into the CompSci building for awhile -- then headed over to STAMP. Nobody knew of CSIC, including a few of my friends that I ran into.

Guess I'll catch you guys next time.
