I'd like to remind everyone who's interested about the event for website contributors we're having this Wednesday. The event will be for all members interested in creating or maintaining content on lounge.cs.umd.edu, or maintaining an application on UMLUG's server (like subversion, other SCM tools, or anything else open-source community related you can think of).
It will be quick and informal, with the goal of knocking out any questions or technical issues contributors might have. There will be no pizza or soda =/. I've scheduled it right at the end of classes so hopefully we can take care of things quickly. If you want to get involved but can't attend let me know and we'll work something out separately. I'm planning on meeting in CSIC 1121 but I still haven't gotten a confirmation from campus reservations, so we might move to the AVW WAM lab if 1121 isn't available. If you're interested, here's some things I'd like you to do beforehand: 1. if you haven't, please sign up for an account on lounge.cs.umd.edu 2. if you want to maintain an application, please let me know what you want to maintain (if I don't already know) so I can set things up beforehand for you on the server. We already have people maintaining a software mirror, Git, and Zope/Plone; if your favorite apps not on the list, let us know and we'll get you up and running.
