I have a sony vaio PCG-X505/SP that i messed up LILO and now it doesn't want to boot anymore. It had a working grub, but option 1) [take out HD and grub-install again] seems painful to me. it's a very non-standard tiny laptop with weird screws.
If somebody happens to hae a bootable medium (cd/dvd) I would prefer that. Problem: i need to have this done monday or tuesday. ....Will travel, have laptop.... peter
