I think we're probably aiming for at least 10 GB of storage per machine, but that's the only thing we've thought of so far. It should probably have at least a GHz for the CPU and 256 MB of RAM, but these are all likely upper bounds on what we actually need. I'm tempted to get new machines if possible, though, since we want them to last, and we most likely want them to be uniform for simplicity In our discussion, we were talking around $250 per machine, but I think we can do better than that.
