Dear UMLUG folks, If you're like me, you use a number of web servers in *.umd.edu that have SSL certificates from the UMD CA. Firefox support for this scenario is poor: you can either trust the UMD CA globally and let them MITM you on sites outside *.umd.edu (especially a concern when your internet access is through UMD) or make an exception for each server after manually verifying its certificate against the UMD CA (tedious). I'm voting for Mozilla bug 501697, which requests support for user-configurable single-domain CA trust, and I would like to invite any of you who might be interested to do the same:
