The server has been running out of space; Ubuntu was one of the biggest disk users, and it wasn't seeing much traffic (plus it's so commonly available), so I removed it. Now that some other distributions have settled a little and I've been able to free up space elsewhere, Ubuntu is once again being served from http://mirror.umoss.org/ubuntu -- but it's just the most recent few releases (J, K and L). Dropping the old releases saved 110GB. Ken
