Sure. Mockups is absolutely a good idea. Actually, it will be good to deploy
the application in private one (for instance encalyptus, which is full
compatible with AWS). However, my advise for you is: put focus in the
network monitoring/security issues instead deployment details.
These kind of solutions are very important because it can works everywhere.
Another tip: checkout Network Scanner and Network Web Scanner, and see what
kind of tools, we already have. Thus, you will build a better proposal.
