Pat, Are you guys working on integrating some kind of one-off runtime "additional applications to install" selection set to choose from, into the next version? (Or maybe such a thing already exists and I just haven't been paying enough attention.) I have (a hack) in install.pl that puts up a menu of about 20 or so "other" applications that are not a part of any other set that I might want to select (zero or more) to install. This is how I select the one of about six or seven different versions of MS Office that we have around here to install on the machine. It sounds like you guys are working on being able to authenticate to the share for drive mapping, mapping failure recovery, etc. These are things that I have hacks for and are keeping me from synchronizing with the project. With a menu implementation such as described above (maybe configured from an ini file or something to define the items in the menu) I think I would be able to rejoin the project and move forward with contributions.
We have happily come to rely on our "Unattended" framework. My Sys Admins love it.
