Yes, v4.0b now works with the Realtek PC Card. So, I'm making some progress but not much.. When attempting to install winxp, the XP setup reports:
Setup was unable to copy the following file: LINUX Never seen this b4. Regarding the serial ata, v4.0b does not fix this problem. I'd like to send you the output from lspci, however, kernel lacks the /dev/fd0 device so I can't copy the output a floppy. Also, tried to ftp but the 4.0b kernel is also missing these file. It is possible to mount the initrd file and update its contents? I'd like to copy ftp the /sbin folder if possible. If so, please explain... Last week, I reported that the Linux v4.0a kernel does not work on my Compaq Deskpro computer. Unfortunately, v4.0b did not fare any better.. Thx.
