Hello,

Currently I am testing Unattended + Samba 3 to deploy OS (win2k) installation on many machines.

I was curious, if any of you guys have a solution for adding / upgrading software *after* OS was already installed?

For example, a month after I installed 30 OSes (piece of cake with Unattended) :) I decide I have to upgrade Office and install a new program on these 30 machines.

How can I achieve it without going from one workstation to another?

I thought using some of unattended scripts (namely todo.pl) could help me with that, as it works perfectly for installing software just after OS was installed - I'm not sure how to run it, though.

I mean, I decide I have to install / upgrade software:

1) my computers are in a domain Samba hosts (same location as Unattended)
2) I make some magic changes on my Samba
3) when a workstation is booted, before anyone can use it, software
should be installed / upgraded
4) after everything is installed, user can log in.

Any clue how to do it?

Tomek
