Hi, I am using 4.5 and I am having the same issue, but only on 1 machine so far (Optiplex GX280).
> A more accurate manual simulation would be: > > Z_PATH='\\ntinstall\install' > smbmount "$Z_PATH" /z -o "ttl=600000,username=guest,ro" I tried this and it failed with: Timeout connecting to 192.168.78.100:445 Timeout connecting to 192.168.78.100:139 Error connecting to 192.168.78.100 (operation already in progress) 492: connection to architect failed SMB connection failed The strange thing is that it is trying to use 192.168.78.100. The machine gets the IP of 192.168.79.7, so I would think that it should try to use 192.168.79.100. Now this shouldn't really matter since install server has multiple interfaces, including 192.168.78.100 and 192.168.79.100.
