How are you doing the install? I don't think that unattended does anything with AD in terms of creating new objects. Joining the domain is done deep in the Windows installation/setup process, which unattended has nothing to do with. Unattended simply copies the files over and then launches the Windows setup. > So you can end up with multiple records with the same name. I actually didn't think that AD allows this. If I try to create a computer object in AD and there is already a computer object with that name, I get an error. Are you using SAMBA?
