hm, I just checked unattended/linuxboot/stage2/lib/modules/2.6.23.1/kernel/drivers/net: ls -l fo* -rw-r--r-- 1 nils nils 55133 2007-12-10 13:59 forcedeth.ko and nail-floppy.txt has this line: lib/modules/2.6.23.1/kernel/drivers/net So, the module should be there if you are using a recent CVS download.. You can check if the module is there by typing: ls -l /lib/modules/2.6.23.1/kernel/drivers/net/fo* Are you shure its a forcedeth NIC?
