Assalamu`alaikum wr wb Kebetulan saya alumni dari Kimia Undip`88. Secara mudahnya perbedaan Kimia dan teknik kimia adalah : Kalau Kimia, lebih ditekankan ke Ilmu kimianya, dan harapannya menjadi ilmuwan atau pekerja di lab. Sedang Teknik Kimia, lebih di tekankan ke Proses dan juga Pabrik. Jadi merupakan penerapan ilmu kimia dalam skala yang lebih besar. Diharapkan kalau lulus menjadi insinyur. Tetapi kenyataan setelah lulus, ada juga yang kimia yang kerja di proses, maupun teknik kimia yang kerja di lab, dan yang tidak bekerja di kedua bidang tersebut juga banyak.
Silahkan ditambahi kalau ada yang kurang. Saya sendiri lulus dari S1 Kimia, dan S2 Teknik kimia dan sekarang sedang di S3 Teknik kimia, tapi yang saya kerjakan sama saja kok, pekerjaan laboratorium, kebetulan saja jurusan saya ikut fakultas teknik.
