Aku jadi maklum kalau ada orang dari luar Undip, baik ITB
atau PT lainnya yang menganggap there is no inteligent life in
Undip. Lebih celaka kalau ada mahluk extra teresterial yang
memonitor milis ini. Bisa-bisa planet bumi di wipe out karena
dianggap no worth to exist in the universe. Hanya karena ada
orang yang pamer keidiotannya di muka umum, dalam komunitas
universitas lagi.
Freedom of expression tidak berarti kebebasan memamerkan keidiotan.
Suatu mailing list adalah suatu public place untuk berdiskusi
atau tukar informasi perkara-perkara yang menjadi kepentingan
umum, bukan kepentingan pribadi yang tidak ada sangkut pautnya
dengan umum. Posting diatas adalah sangat tidak layak untuk
dilewatkan milis Undip. Terlebih Undip adalah suatu institusi
pendidikan tinggi (kecuali kalau sekarang sudah diubah sebagai
pos penjagaan RT/RW Tembalang sehingga para anggota bisa
clemongan seenaknya dengan menggunakan intercom) dan yang nota
bene dikenal masyarakat sebagai gudang kaum intelektual. Jadi
disini ada tanggung jawab moral dan intelektual yang harus
kita sadari.
