I have seen this problem before, and as far as I can tell:

You're in trouble.

Windows is a royal pain sometimes, and this is one of these times. The only thing I 
can suggest is that you go out, but an Asian version of Windows, and try that.
If you want to *SEE* these characters, if THAT is your problem, download the program 
MView.


Anybody out there have better ideas??
