Well, Apple's in WorldText version 1.1 I just typed both of these. The first one displayed as RA VIRAMA (visible) VOCALIC R and the second displayed as REPHA VOCALIC R. So in at least one implementation the latter is supported. -- Michael Everson *** Everson Typography *** http://www.evertype.com
