The Last Resort Font has glyphs for all the characters, so it's the last one looked at.
I hope that it is not just for that reason that it is the last one looked at.
Eh? The system looks for Unicode glyphs in all the other fonts and if there's no available glyph the the LRF is displayed. It's the "last resort".
