Latin-1 is not everything! If you need to transcribe Arabic/Hebrew/Sanskrit/Farsi, you will need the macrons on vowels (Latin Extended-A) and various dot-under letters (Latin Extended Additional). I made my own layout using the DDK. Raymond Mercier
