Hello everyone. It is apparent that this discussion of Assamese/Bengali is not going anywhere and should now be closed.
As has been pointed out, and clarified several times, block names and names
of characters in the standard will not be changed. There is nothing further to
discuss in this thread except language politics. People who want to continue
the discussion are invited to take up the issues elsewhere.
