Ah! I didn't notice you said "RPM install"! Yes, the RPMs are broken - they're very old (Oct. 2000). You need to build from CVS if you want all that to work - in Nov. and Dec. I fixed lots of bugs in the POSIX stuff. (Clint: why don't we kill the RPMs from that download page?) I can provide binaries for Mandrake 8.1, Debian 2.2, OpenBSD 2.9 and FreeBSD 4.4-STABLE - those are the systems I have. But no Mandrake 7. I can send you a binary tarball from either of my Linux systems if you want to try them out. Question for the group: are we even going to make RPMs? I didn't find a spec file anywhere in CVS; the only thing I have is the original spec file I wrote in '98. I have come to the realisation that RPM is a steaming pile of crap and don't want anything to do with maintaining that spec file (at some point I'll try to find time for a *BSD port -- ports and packages are so much nicer since dependencies can be installed automatically -- I'm hoping the Linux distributions will start moving that way). Any volunteers? -s _______________________________________________ Unicon-group mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/unicon-group
