The unicon-group mailing list has gradually increased in volume, which is a
healthy thing.  I have been very happy to see the good number of interesting
ideas on the list. Looking at the archive we are only averaging 1-2 messages
per day, but they come in bursts.

However, the mailing list is at a level where some folks may unsubscribe in
order to avoid the bursts and/or banter (we had one unsubscribe today for
this reason).  So occasionally it is appropriate for the community to
consider whether we should:

        * continue as we are, no change needed
        * switch to a moderated list
        * have an informal policy of taking discussions to private e-mail
        * split into multiple lists in various interest areas
                (language extensions, platform-specific topics, etc.)

I would encourage your input (via direct e-mail) on how the list is doing as
far as you are concerned, and how to improve it.
