[Unicon-group] PalmOS dev experience - would a port be *serious* work

I've just traded up my trusty Newton MP2100 for a Tapwave Zodiac 2 and 
having had a play with it today I can't help but wonder whether getting 
an Icon or Unicon system up and running on it wouldn't be interesting. 
Trouble is I haven't written anything for PalmOS in around six years 
and I was wondering if anyone on here had more recent experience - 
especially of porting open-source software.

I'm pretty busy with an ongoing project, but I have been meaning to 
have a proper look under the hood of Unicon and well a port to PalmOS 
would be a very positive thing for the community as a whole... Any and 
all suggestions (even "arghh!! you must be joking!!) welcome.
