We are quietly working very hard on Unicon here at Unicon central.
Today's CVS commits of work done by Hani Banisal update the "ui"
IDE program to use version 2 of the GUI facilities, and add syntax
coloring and syntax checking. If you were getting code via CVS, you
would have to rerun the configure step (or manually copy in the ide.mak
into uni/ide/makefile in order for it to build.
Recent work by Qutaiba Mahmoud has added on a pseudo-tty, or two-way pipe,
interface. It is committed in CVS in an almost-complete form and not enabled
yet
by default. If you need it you can e-mail me for instructions and help test
it.
Work is continuing on the optimizing compiler with some exciting results to
report
soon, and on the debugger. These tools will be publically announced when
they
are ready for the attention.
