Steve,
Firstly, to try and visualize what happens:
* TheImplemented tasks list e.g.
http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Category:Unicon is listed on the language page
under Pages in Category Unicon
* The Unimplemented tasks list e.g.
http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Reports:Tasks_not_implemented_in_Unicon is listed
on the language page in the Your Help Needed Box
* Using the heading/sub-heading approach the heading would appear in
the Contents box for each task it is implemented for. In that case you
wouldn't see it as expected.
* Icon and Unicon should show as sub-headers under the broader heading.
* A back link could be added but it leaves us with only a small
improvement over what we have now
* Being Icon and Unicon would keep it sorted earlier which in some
cases keeps it on the first page of reports
* Icon came first alphabetically and chronologically
* Anyone using find would find it anyway
* We could say Unicon and Icon would work too.
* Which is more in use?? Which is better known??
* The linking instructions for inserting backlinks from Unicon to Icon
is @
http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Category_talk:Unicon#Consistency_and_Eliminating_Duplication
Secondly, I'm going to try the new approach on one entry that has either
Unicon or Icon but not both. Then I can post a link. Based on feedback from
the group we can adjust and then update Talk page and the rest of the tasks.
I'll do this with http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Tree_traversal#Icon since we need
to do something anyway.
I should also point out the report on Tasks requiring attention @
http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Category:Unicon_examples_needing_attention off the
language page. If anyone sees anything that clearly needs work they can mark
it per the instructions @
http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Template:Example-needs-review OR
http://rosettacode.org/wiki/Template:Incorrect

When I look at a task to see solutions, I scan down the list of
languages on the left. If I'm looking for Unicon, I'd
expect it to be list between VB and Unix Pipes. Would that
still be the case? If I were a novice looking for Unicon
solutions I might not pick it up if it were in the I's (especially
if the list of languages gets much longer!).
I don't suppose we could get away with naming it "Unicon/Icon"? :)
