I believe we had a query about this some time ago, but haven't seen any
responses.

Has anyone been able to access with Unicon a remote mysql database through
an ssh tunnel, from a centos machine?

There appears to be a problem with the centos mysql-connector-odbc
package.

We can access on the same centos machine mysqld from a Unicon program..

We can access a remote mysqld (running Fedora Core 12) with a local mysql
client (under centos) through an ssh tunnel (mysql doesn't need the mysql
connector).

We can access a remote mysqld (running Fedora Core 12) with a Unicon
program (running under Fedora Core 11 and 12) through an ssh
tunnel.
