Thanks, that's a huge help!  Turns out we didn't notice this for a good
while because its only on 32-bit machines, but I had run into it myself
recently and hadn't had the time to track it down yet.  On 32-bit machines,
the icode reader was being a bit too restrictive, and I have committed
(hopefully) a fix.

Folks should pound on udb, report bugs, demand better documentation, and
tell any success stories they have with it, since udb is one of the newest
and least mature parts of the system.
