It is an in-house distribution that we are building from scratch.

Sure, here it is:
/usr/local/lib
/opt/lib

I'm afraid I dont have one of those.

I was already using that version. The warning remains.

I will try and see what I can do. Unfortunately, new rules around here makes 
that more complicated than the last time. I will let you know.
