Hi,

My system (RHEL5.0 kernel 2.6.18-8.el5) is currently having problem of
loading certain modules. I saw on the unionfs web site that for kernel
2.6.18.8, one can use either unionfs 1.4 (legacy code), or
unionfs-2.3.3_for_2.6.18.8 (stable code).

The unionfs-2.3.3_for_2.6.18.8 is a kernel patch which causes some
kernel module loading problems on my machine. The unionfs 1.4, on the
other hand, is an externally compile module.

Are these two version of unionfs identical?

Does anyone have any advise on which version of unionfs I should use?

Thanks...

Andy Ngo
