Ok, I've read the rules and so even it seems strange, it is correct for this bug not to be fixed on 12.04. Question is what a security flaw or regression is in this case, as people's action based on wrong date information may be harmful. On the other side, it is no threat to the security of the computer system itself.
So we keep going with wrong dates for another year :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Unity API bugs, which is subscribed to Indicator Date and Time. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/990493 Title: After suspend+resume, date in menu bar is incorrect Status in The Date and Time Indicator: Fix Released Status in “getting-started-with-ubuntu-12.04” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “indicator-datetime” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: indicator-datetime 0.3.94-0ubuntu2, Ubuntu 12.04 - Fake the date as 11:55 PM - Suspend system - Resume 10 minutes later - Date won't be updated in the unity top bar.
