The proposed Unity Task Switching features are nice work:

However, it would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut option for closing
windows from within Full-Spread and Application-Spread. The google doc made no
mention of this capability.
I hope the following feature for closing windows from within Full-Spread and
Application-Spread will be added to the feature-list:
1.) when a window in Full-Spread or Application-Spread has focus (i.e., orange
highlight), pressing Ctrl+W will close that window.
I think it would also be beneficial to have this feature as well:
2.) middle-clicking a window from within Full-Spread or Application-Spread will
close that window
