The first helicopter on the scene was Channel 6, followed by 3, 10, and arriving late was Fox. I was walking my dog at the time and even he was a little freaked out the noise.
Channel 6 said that during the Fat Tuesday Riots on South St that their helicopters could fly so high that you wouldn't know they were there and still take great pictures. This was brought up when residents of the area complained that the news coverage of the crowd provoked the riot. I wonder why they can't use that technology when over residential areas? BTW. I'm very happy that they caught those idiot kidnappers. Brings to mind what types of problems we have very close by. -- Richard Hotchkiss http://www.hotstrings-inc.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I saw a Channel 6 chopper flying quite low above Clark Park or thereabouts, > hovering around and flying in small circles around 7:35.
