Date: Fri, 6 Dec 2002 21:05:49 -0500 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] From: Philadelphia City Planning Commission <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Penn's Landing Development Process Dear PCPC Meeting Agenda Mailing List Recipient: As you may know, the City of Philadelphia is interested in selecting a new developer for Penn's Landing. The Street Administration is committed to creating a selection process that maximizes public input about the future of this site. In the next couple of weeks, events will be sponsored at three locations (Penn's Landing Seaport Museum, Temple University, and the University of Pennsylvania) where people can come to express their views about the future of Penn's Landing in person. There will also be comment "drop boxes" available at various neighborhood locations throughout the City (locations to be announced soon) to submit written comments. In addition, a Web site at has been created to provide information about the Penn's Landing site, its riverfront context, and to solicit comments on the kind of development you would like to see take place there. Comments can be posted by going to <http://pennslanding.phila.gov>. To post a comment, click on the "Login" or "Forum" tabs at the top of the page. While you have to "register" with a username and password before you can post a comment to the forum, you DO NOT have to fill in the other text box information, like name, address, or phone number. Mayor Street would like to encourage an open, wide-ranging, and engaging discussion about the future of Penn's Landing. Qualified developers invited to submit proposals for Penn's Landing will be required to consider this public input in preparing their plans. Please take a few moments to visit the Penn's Landing Development Project Web site at <http://pennslanding.phila.gov>. Please let us know about your vision for the future of this very important site. Thank you. ======================================== Philadelphia City Planning Commission One Parkway, 13th Floor 1515 Arch Street Philadelphia, PA 19102 Voice: 215.683.4615 Fax: 215.683.4630 E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web: www.philaplanning.org ========================================
