Fellow Charles Dickens Birthday Celebrationists, Due to my poor proofreading skills, please be aware that I put the wrong date on some postcards sent out for the Charles Dickens Birthday Event. The correct date is Sunday, February 2, at 2:00 PM in Griffith Hall at 600 South 43rd Street on the campus of the University of the Sciences at Philadelphia (USP).
I apologize for the mistake and hope we'll see you there. Please circulate this correction among your friends and acquaintances. I don't want anyone coming on the wrong day in this weather. Also, the work day that was scheduled for this Saturday, February 1, has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2003. We'll be meeting at 10:00 AM at the flagpole in Park A (northern part of the park). We plan on working on preparing the garden, doing some cleanup and possibly fixing some broken equipment.
